  22. Isn't the Finder the problem ? The filesystem would just stall
  23. everything that accesses the disk if you copy the file with a single
  24. read and a single write which is unlikely.

  26. Also, the progress window is probably a modal requester that freezes
  27. the GUI. But I'm not sure about that.
